Her hair in a bun,
Her head held up high,
As she thinks of a dream,
She gives out a sigh,
At her first ballet recital,
She lets out an excited giggle,
As she practices her grand jetes,
Her friends continue to mingle,
She imagines the crowd,
As this is her dream,
To be the best ballerina,
The world has ever seen,
As she walks up to the stage,
The music starts,
She dances with her soul,
She dances with her heart,
She dances with grace,
A beautiful sight,
At the end of the show,
The applause was filled with delight,
6 years from now there she is,
Living her dream,
To be the best ballerina,
The world has ever see.
